Collection Insurance A Guuide for UK Collectors

Collection insurance, some UK collectors think, is optional either because of the steep price or the difficulty in getting them. Here’s why they might change their minds. Collection insurance coverage is comprehensive. Mainstream art items like coins and dolls are covered, along with non-mainstream ones, such as sewing items. Art insurance also covers theft, fire, flooding, natural disasters, and breakage. General appraisals are not required; you determine the value of your collection and the amount of insurance you need. It is only wise that you should keep an accurate inventory of items in case you have to turn in documents in the case of damage or loss.
